We’re looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer who loves automation, cloud technologies, and solving infrastructure challenges. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud platforms while gaining hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices.

The Role

What you'll be doing

At Techanek, DevOps is more than writing deployment scripts it’s about building reliable, secure, and automated platforms that help engineering teams ship faster.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work with senior engineers on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, monitoring systems, and automation projects. You’ll gain practical experience with real production systems while contributing to customer-facing infrastructure.

Requirements

What we're looking for

Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude or similar) to improve productivity and problem-solving.
Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications ( AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AZ-900, AZ-104, CKA, Terraform Associate, etc.) are a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Linux systems and command-line operations.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software deployment workflows.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, SSH).
Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team.
Responsibilities

Day-to-day ownership

Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development teams.
Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure.
Help manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
Monitor applications and infrastructure using modern observability tools.
Collaborate with developers to improve deployment reliability and release processes.
Participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.
Learn and implement DevOps best practices under senior engineer guidance.
Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and security.
