We are seeking a proactive DevOps & Cloud engineer – Intern who is enthusiastic about building practical skills in cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps methodologies. This role offers hands-on exposure to CI/CD workflows, cloud environment management, and automation processes. DevOps Engineer Intern – Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Assistance: Support the team in designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to streamline application build and deployment processes as a DevOps Engineer Intern.
- Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring: Assist cloud engineers in monitoring and managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency as a Cloud Engineer Intern.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Learn and work with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to automate cloud resource provisioning under the guidance of senior Engineers.
- Cloud Operations Support: Participate in day-to-day cloud operations, including system monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting, gaining real-world experience as a DevOps Engineer Intern.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop basic automation scripts using Python or JavaScript to reduce manual tasks and improve operational workflows in a DevOps and cloud engineering environment.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation related to automation processes, cloud infrastructure, and operational runbooks for effective knowledge sharing.
- Team Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with DevOps Engineers and Cloud Engineers, actively participating in team discussions and clearly communicating updates in professional English.
DevOps Engineer Intern – Qualifications
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, suitable for candidates applying as a Intern.
- Scripting Knowledge: Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript, with a strong interest in learning automation and scripting best practices.
- Foundational Cloud Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of DevOps Concepts: Familiar with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and container basics (Docker).
- Eager to Learn & Adaptable: Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and take initiative in troubleshooting and operational tasks.
- Strong English Communication Skills: Proven ability to clearly and professionally communicate technical information, both written and verbally, in English.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to IaC Tools: Basic knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Cloud Certifications: Foundational cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
- Basic Linux, Networking & Security Awareness: Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
